Hello, So this is V2 of Classics Arcee. I wasn't gonna post it.but since there are some improvements, I figured why the heck not. Improvements: 1. Hip plates moved to the backpack (screwed in..not glued) 2. Elbow ball joints removed and replaced with real white ball joints (screwed in...solves rubbing issues). 3. Hands removed and replaced with new hands. Rotates at the wrist now. 4. New feet. Hands and ball joints came from RTS Jazz (Sorry Jazz). I'm getting a united version...but it sure was hard to tear him apart like that. Shaved down the hands..so they look a bit more feminine. Thanks to uuser for the head/guns. Enjoy:
Well, I'm glad you posted it, as I thoroughly enjoy your work. I really like this project, and I like everything you've done with it. I'm still so surprised how well this figure fits in with the other "Classics" styled figures. Thanks so much for sharing this update
Thats awsome,we need an arcee so bad. In gijoe hasbro won't make females, they say they don't sale.Is that the case with transformers too?
Beautiful work, man! I have uuser's Arcee head also, just need some time to put into it all. Been swamped with other projects lately. Love the paint apps and the colors. It still amazes me that a simple head swap and a new paint job can completely transform (so to speak) the Animated aesthetic and make it more "Classics".
Thanks everyone! Solrac333...the new elbow joints were donated from RTS Jazz. The ball joints that his arms attach to.
Pardon the bump. This is for user aledromo who sent me a few questions on what paints I used. You exceeded your private messages, so I cannot reply back to you. The pink is the Tamiya spray can (TS-25). The white is Krylon Fusion (spray can). I then sealed it with Model Masters lusterless flat overcoat (spray can) Hope that helps.
Thanks a million. I was meaning to try a spray project. Never done that before. I better warm up on an RTS Bumblebee or something. This thing is so good as to be intimidating. Quite intimidating. Incredible work.
