This is my first post on Radicons, so had to make it a good one. So after months of kitbashing and painting here we have it, classics Abominus. Abominus stands at 16" tall, he has leds in his head to light up his eyes with three settings (red, flashing red, and a more G1 style yellow). He also has a red flashing led in his gun. He is poseable at the wrists, knees, at the top of his legs, shoulders and head can turn left and right. Abominus seperates into the five terrorcons. Each terrorcon was taken apart and each individual piece was sprayed with plastic primer, then sprayed with fine layers of automotive paints. Hobby-tec washes were then applied and then dry brushed with titanium silver tamiya paint to give them a grimy worn appearance (which suits the terrorcons brilliantly I think). Kept the G1 color scheme but wanted to give them a realistic movie feel also. So have a look at the pictures and any comments would be appreciated. If you would like to add this guy to your collection, he is up on e-bay now. Thanks.

Arms are a tad short, but I suppose it's better than having extra parts. Can't wait for your (hopefully) future made Computron!

Thanks everyone for your comments. Gonna take a few more pictures of Abominus in different poses. Also added an led laser sight to his gun to bulk it up a bit. Hoping to get it on ebay within the next 24 hours, and yes, you read my mind, Computron is the next project. Already started with turning RTS perceptor into nosecone.

That is just a marvel of engineering. Excellent man. This guy was my least favorite as a combiner as a kid and rom this custom, you've made me want to try making one. Excellent stuff

I looked at the pics before reading the introductory passage, and was thinking as I did 'hey, this grimy paint job works really well for these guys!' especially Blot, who looks like he's just crawled right out of a sewer.

I also like the way that you left a few of the vehicle parts they're composed from clearly visible, it gives the impression that these guys were hastily hammered together on an operating table from bits of other fallen transformers, Frankensteins monster style!

    ......total awesomesauce!!!
the g1 metroplex head actually fits pretty good, and all the different mishmash of molds and parts can keep me staring and identifying for a long time!!
ingenious use of some of those molds.never would have seen some of it like energon sharkticon as rippersnapper!!!
    good show:bowdown:
