Not much to say here. I repainted him with a custom blue that I mixed. I originally posted him a while back and I had painted him purple at the time. I used pearlescent purple for some of the highlights. The Decepticon symbol is from reprolables.com. Comments and criticism welcome.

This is the same figure pictured in my signature

Looks nice but I don't think that is the best color for accuracy. It looks too pale, other than that the paint app is great!

It looks better in person, but thanks.

That's always true about looking better in person. With camera flash or without it, I've noticed it never displays the true accuracy unless you're using High-Def.

While there certainly is some truth to real-world accuracy and photography, perhaps this is a point to where you reconsider some of your photography techniques. Your photos certainly aren't bad (trust me, I've seen a lot worse!), but what are some things you can do to push the boundaries of this corner of your craft?

Photography aside, I like what you've done with this one. :)

I know I need to work on my photo technique. My biggest problem is the piss-poor lighting in this house. Thank you for the compliment, I'm pleased with how he turned out.

    You're welcome!

It sounds like you and Goodwill have a date for the future! You can get a decent lamp for about $3-5 there. At least I did. It's what I use for lighting photos. :thumb

In G1 his blue was more purplish. And the gray was brighter.
