I had a Movie Voyager Prime preordered only because it was an OP figure; I really don't like the front half of the truck hanging off his back. I recently found a bunch of Classic Voyager OP's at a nearby Wal-Mart and bought a couple. I cancelled the preorder. Who else prefers the Classic to the Movie figure? Who would've kept the preorder?
I don't like the voyager movie prime figure — I think he's ugly — but I like the leader class movie Prime. Neither does a very good job of capturing Prime's appearance in the film, but the leader version is definitely closer IMO.
To be frank I think the movie voyager Prime is better. But then and again I think that Robo Vision Prime is the standout in the line (not much a fan of Leader Prime to be honest). It sounds like you lost either way to be honest because you bought more than one classics prime when you could have gotten one of each... silly move my child. But yeah voyager movie Prime all the way, Gotta love dual cannons. And the truck mode on classics Prime looks bollocks (and yes, I am talking about the normal voyager Prime, not the 2 pack one - I dont even count that one as having a vehicle mode!)
Personally I like both. The front part of the truck hanging off his back isnt really a problem for me. Both has kibble though Classics has less kibble (Only the arm guards).
Eh, not a silly move in my eyes; I like the Classic Voyager. It's interesting how people view the same thing differently. For instance, I think the Classic Voyager vehicle mode looks pretty cool.
Well each to his own I suppose. The Classic prime Truck mode, and the Leader Prime's bot moed both look too... I dunno, fat? to me. I just like voyager movie prime more because it's got a more sleek aesthetic I suppose... and those dual guns!
Too hard to choose since they're different in their own way. Classics Prime is cool to play with, and movie Prime is fun to gawk at. Damn, now Im going to go dig them out and make them fight each other
Why.... did you buy more than one Classics Prime? You could've bought one Classics prime AND bought the movie Voyager Prime... btw Sharky, Classics Voyager Prime also has two guns.
Earlier this year when I got into collecting I almost bought Classics Voyager Prime, but then saw DVD Prime and was shocked that the thing actually transformed. Mind you, I had no clue that the MP's existed. Eventually I broke down and got MP-04. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're going to get a Prime figure, it's probably best to go for one of the MP's. This is assuming you have the money, of course. The thing is, the Voyager size toys of Prime/Megs are all so hit or miss in so many departments its really hard to choose one over the other.
I like movie Prime better then Classics. I liked the Classic's alright but I like the movie one much better.
the movie voyager just looks like a robot mcbaine. as in crashing through the window all guns blazing. leader is the campy 70's action star who is mildly obese and is slightly stumpy
I really dislike both very much, but if I had to choose, I'd say Classics, since I already have Masterpeice Movie Pri- erm, I mean, Leader Movie Prime. Also, those who say Leader Prime is fat or stumpy, obviously don't own him, because he's not fat and his legs are correctly proportioned. (the CGI version's legs are just so long, so they look stumpy by comparison)
I have both. Movie voyager Prime is cool, but Classics Prime is far better. Movie Prime's feet have too much play in them, and the movie head doesn't look much like Prime. I'm not overly fond of the movie aesthetics, but the toys do manage to look a lot better than the movie CG models. He looks a lot better than leader Prime, though. Leader Prime's torso is pretty oddly shaped. Classics Prime is, in my book, the best Prime toy ever made. He looks great in both modes, and is pretty stable in a wide range of poses. Plus, his vehicle mode looks far more like a truck, than a materpiece Prime could ever dream of. He also gets bonus points for being based on a Perterbilt 372. I'd recomend both toys, if you can get them. If you have to choose, go with Classics.
Classics prime is so much fun. Leader prime is a great "robot" toy, but classics is an awesome 'Prime' toy.
I will agree that Classic Prime is by far the best Prime there has ever been but I would have kept the order on Movie Prime cause the Alt mode looks great.
I much, much prefer Classics Prime over any movie Prime figure, I think the design is just better and the toy, despite the doors on the arm, is as solid as you could hope for.
Yeah I know but his guns... they just look like chunks of truck with handles and a barrel. Voyager Movie Prime's guns look... menacing. Laser Rifles. That and they're huge. I love it!
