Awesome. I've strangely found myself missing the little guys the past year or so.

Very not bad. The packaging's pretty nifty, so I may pick up two if the price is right.

The whole she-bang's only $20, if I remember correctly. Pretty good deal.

From the Hasbro design post, I expected all of these to be essentially unaligned mini-cons. Seeing the Autobot / Decepticon factions is a bit suprising. I'm hoping that we won't see faction symbols on the bots themselves.

Rock On! I'm going to try and get this minicon farewell tour set.

I have a few very tiny shelves to fill.

Looking at the stock photos on Hasbro's site, it looks as if they'll all have the minicon logo. I think the Autobot and Decepticon logos on the box are similar to Unicron's box having a Decepticon logo on it. Basically to show that these bots are good, and these one's are bad. I don't really think they are directly affiliated with either side. While I have no problem with all of these guys being repaints, I'm glad that we'll be getting at least one new minicon mold in the Universe/25th Ann. line. Hopefully it won't be the only one.

It doesn't appear to me that the figures have the faction logos but they are next to each figures name on the box.

I find it funny that they're part of the "Armada Series" and yet they're the Classic Minicon molds. Only reason I'm not getting this set is because I have most of them already, but there are some nice repaints in there and the box is real sweet.

Ummm....sure... but I think the question is why Armada series as opposed to Classic(or some other) series.

The molds were first released under with "Classics"-style packaging, but since they are minicons and have powerlinx ports, they probably are more representative of, and fit better with, the Armada series.

There is going to be a new Hot Shot toy next year based on the Armada version but obviously much better. He'll be part of the Armada series of course.

I'm guessing Mini-Cons are part of the Armada series because Mini-Cons originated in Armada.

Never had much of a reason to swing by the few K-Marts still in the area. Guess that'll be changing soon. What's the release date on these according to Hasbro?

I think I'm a sucker for mini-cons... no matter HOW Hasbro repaints them, I tend to want them. I think the micromaster-loving kid inside me loves minicons XD. These look nice. At least in my opinion. I'd totally buy them.

Anyone know?? I feel like August or September is the month where exclusives start hitting shelves.

Agreed. I loved Micromasters that I feel like these are it's offspring. Little robots, whats wrong with that?
