No, and isn't there already a huge discussion about this in the thread about the Henkei Thrust & Dirge that IS coming out. Oh and Hasbro never released a Thundercracker.....it was Henkei.

Yeah, TakaraTomy released Henkei Thundercracker. Hasbro DID release Thundercracker as part of the Botcon 2007 exclusive boxset "Games of Deception!", along with Bugbite, Thrust, Dirge, and Dreadwind.

Um yes I and he already know that, thanks. And if we are correcting people, it actually was Fun Publications with Hasbros permission that released the botcon set that I own.

Not this again! How many times do I have to see this whole topic?! If I see it another 20 times I might just scream! Ok, if one can afford the Botcon figures, just get them. If not, then save up or get one at a time. If you prefer the Henkei versions, then get the Henkei. Just let the topic go, and let's go back to the days of Rumble is Red, Frenzy is Blue/ and vice versa or Truck not Monkey.

Hasbro did not "f**k all the fans over" if that were the case the 2007 Botcon set would not have contained the TC, Thrust and Dirge.

Hasbro will not release a classics TC as it's a straight repaint of the Starscream mold, plus Hasbro has said time and again that they won't infringe on the Botcon exclusives by mass releasing them. Dirge and Thrust are more probable, but not by much.

I got nothing to back this up, all I got is a gut feeling. And my gut is telling me that they will. It might be two or three years and they definently won't look exactly like the Botcon releases, but I think that they will.

Everyone now has permission to be quite angry at me:D

Pretty much until Hasbro puts Thundercracker, Thrust & Dige at retail, it's like a law of nature: Birds fly, fish swim, fans discuss the retail release of the Botcon '07 Seekers.

Yeah! How DARE they let FP put out a Botcon set containing figures that they had no intention of ever releasing themselves!
    Incidentally:
i have no problem with Hasbro releasing their versions whatsoever.

I gotta vote yes on this one. This mold never dies and is so loved. They could easily do a repaint of the universe SS and simply say it is not the Botcon colors so that's that.

I would bet on Hasbro releasing eventually all the seekers in this mold in some paint color or another.

God, this is getting just plain stupid now. Why can't people just let this shit go. Hasbro never intended on releasing those figures....EVER. They allowed FP to use the mold to make their own exclusives for Botcon. If you wanted the set you could have either gone to Botcon or gotten the nonattendee package. Now you are getting for another chance at a new retool of the characters through Takara. Get them or don't, just please let it go. The only thing Hasbro may be guilty of is underestimating the popularity of the Classics line and killing it prematurely. Because of that they brought it back under the Universe banner, but for all intents and purposed Classics is dead.

Now if they bring the Takara remolds over is another story. They did say that the characters aren't off limits, just the Botcon molds.......Rant over. Carry on. Nothing to see here.
