they're unpainted .... as for a trailer for magnus and optimus (classic) they're on the drawing board but since i have only 2 hands they'll wait a while to be built....
I think he was referring to a Classics Magnus trailer, but I could be mistaken. . . . anyways, these look really cool! Good to see new photos! Keep up the great work!
here is all the info you need .... batch 2 will start within a few days.... http://www.marksprojects.com/ordertrailer.htm
i,ll be offeing them unassembled and unpainted in a couple of months for thoses who can build them and will be almost half price....
I know, but they appear to be molded in the color that matches starscream. I wasn't asking about painted ones, I was asking about them molded in black and dark grey. Can you only cast them in that one shade of grey? When I experimented with molds, they had a dye that you could put in the resin to get different colors.
yes i could do that.... i do have black dye but i would need to check for gray.... the reason it's white is that not everyone will want them gray.... but it's possible to have them that way...
I'd so buy these, but I've never painted anything, and I don't want my first painting screw-up to be on a pair of custom Null Rays!
Gotta try sometime bro... practice on scrap parts first...use acrylic paint then seal with a semi-gloss...(you can even buy the cheap paints/brushes at walmart...they work great)...and it can always be removed later with a little effort if you decide to... I use to be the same way...but I love repainting now...
I don't like painting my collection pieces ( only customs ), so Id only buy them if they were molded in the right colors. Light grey for Starscream and dark grey for Ramjet and black for Skywarp. Sign me up for 3 sets if you'll mold them in those colors.
They theoretically should fit, since Screamer's and Ramjet's guns are interchangable. These are actually growing on me a little, but I still prefer the seeker's as is. Peace out.
If you have black dye, then why do you need to check for gray? Just use less black dye. Black+White resin=Grey
the problem is that the resin is transparent at first.... so i'm not sure it will be gray... but i'll give it a try !
