That's War Within Jetfire in the Titanium 6" line It's like both rolled into a main line ~ The Hasbro Reps described it last year as 'Alternators detail with Cybertron playability'. G1 characters with new, updated molds ~ala the Astrotrain proto we saw. i find it interesting that in the earlier rumours and this case listing they're still calling him Hot Rod instead of Hot Shot or some derivitive of Rodimus ~ wonder if they got the name back? Me too ~ I've wanted a 'perfect' Hot Rod/Rodimus ever since i saw how crappy the 86 movie toys were ~ Excellion is close, but...

I'm really curious what they'll do for SW. a boombox ala the 2005 mascot? a communications truck? a Helicopter? I'd imagine not a jet since they JUST did that in Cybertron....
Seriously, is it possible to be a TF fan, who likes other series of TF, to not like G1? Or at least have a respect for it? It was the original, it is THE Transformers. Everything since then is just a based off of mock up, regardlesss of how good or bad the predecessors were.

I can already tell that I'm going to be going the completionist route with this line. Even now I'm picturing myself getting every single first wave figure the day they come out. A new, modern Hot Rod... I cannot wait to see this. It's like Hasbro has been reading my dreams and decided to make a toy out of them. (and Kickback, when you're talking about hanging as a method of execution, the proper past tense form is "hanged", not "hung". Sorry, but it always annoys me to see that error)
Hmmm, as others already said, I think I may actually go super completionist for this line. I am EAGERLY awaiting what Megatron looks like in all his nerf gun/blaster gun type glory.

Dude!!! I'm on the completionist train with this line, but i'm going the two of each route...one each for me, and one each for my son who will be born this may. I figure he's gonna drool over them his whole life, and the day he tries to break into the cabinet to play with dad's transformers is the day I give him his complete collection, still in the original packaging!!! P.S. I can't friggin wait for Hot Rod!!!!
