Not a fan of the weird IDW artwork in the corner or the G1 art on the other side, but the rest of the box looks way better than the horrid official Classics cardbacks.

If the actual toys had used something similar to that design I think we'd see a new breed of MOC collectors springing up.

Awesome work. It has that G1 feel to it, but a little bit revamped. Wicked sweet.

I voted for the MP Prime box. I turned to the guy next to me and said "This guy should sell these. I'd buy the hell out of one."

Absolutely beautiful work all around! :rock

The packaging is spectacular! I also wish Hasbro would have done that for the classic line.

those are so many kinds of sexy.

if the retail packaging had ended up looking like this, I would have totally bought doubles.

Thanks all for the positive comments. Again to all those who have done the seeker repaints before me thanks again for the inspiration!

To answer a couple of questions, yes the stripes and tail designs are stickers. You wouldn't believe it but trying to find glossy paper labels of any size at Staples/Business Depot is impossible. What I ended up doing was printing out my designs on proper Epson glossy paper and using rubber cement to glue it to a label sheet. After it dried I cut out the stripes and applied them. Worked well and more vibrant colour.
I'm always nervous at the point when I need to actually paint the stripes to ruin my nice base paint job. I used Krylon Fusion Blue and Satin Black. Hand painted Tamiya purple and aluminum for the chest and Skywarp's features.
I used thin corrugated cardboard and Photoshop with some photography of the actual repainted toy.

I'll try to do Starscream when I get some time but the weather is getting nicer.

I'll probably focus on some more custom packaging. See my post for my Masterpiece Convoy G1 box.

Those really are a work of art. The toys look great and like others have said, that packaging is awesome looking. If Hasbro had made them that way I may have started a MISB collection.

How much do you charge for Custom Job Thundercracker and rest of Coneheads? :D

Superb job. You totally deserve the awards.

This packaging is absolutely wonderful. Far, far superior to the existing Classics packaging, which I have always said was lousy. The custom figures are excellent too. Congratulations on the award, very much deserved. Kudos.

If you had those cardbacks printed on cardstock, even without bubbles, I'd buy them.
