He is still a wip, though I'm just about finished the mods, just some tidying.

made from acid storm and g1 sandstorm, I think I done a decent job combining the 2 molds, though working with a junker g1 was a pain, there were parts broke that i was wanting to use, the helicopter cockpit is the most noticible, tried to fix it but I'm pretty limited in my scratch built joints, and don't have anything else thst would work, tried a few things but this is the best so far, thinking of just filling in the gaps with styrene or putty.

    comment crits and suggestion welcome

Oh, Octane (tankor) is modded aswell, thanks to fellow radicons posting their good work, makes all the difference IMO

This is so cool. All the more reason why the seeker mold is so versatile.

I was thinking of making one a while back out of Classics Mirage, but then I got sucked into the world of Gobots.

I know, was going to use it for broadside and blitzwing (can't remember who, but it was absolutly amazing), but don't want them to all have so many similarities, I know the big details would all be different, but its the small ones that would be noticed.

octane is modded to allow his head to turn easier, and to attach the claw thing onto his wings.

Neat. I'd like to see the giant rotor-spur thing slide down or somehow fold aside - I know it was part of his G1 design, but it looks silly and unwieldy now.

BErilliant! It's great that you've thought about this and are executing it so nicely. I also like that you're using some of the original parts. looking forward to seeing more. sandstorm never got so much love.

Wow what a combination using a junker and universe toy together to make this G1 character, Sandstorm work. I do agree that some more work needs to be done, but all and all you did a helluva great job.

Your Sandstorm is awesome, and has got me on the look for a junker to do the same... but I'd really like to know how you did the octane mods. :D
