Are plasma injectors what Starscream kept from the Combaticons?

Also, the Plasma Energy Chamber in both G1 and Beast Machines may have something to do with it. Or am I not supposed to mention that because everyone wants to believe that Beast Machines has no ties to G1?

"FP" retroactively stands for... erm, I'd better not go into details here. Someone made a point about it being a possible "fuck you" to a certain vocal, much-complaining fan whose online moniker starts with "P", which was retroactively "approved" as a potential meaning by the guy who designed the deco of Classics Mirage.

I think it was originally supposed to be a reference to a sports team from the home city of the deco designer in question.

I'm with Draven. I'm perfectly fine with BM being linked to G1. I just treat it as an alternate future that may or may not happen.:D

Besides, plasma energy has appeared in several areas of SF and Fantasy, why should the TFU be any different?

In the short amount of Googling I've done, apparently the idea of plasma injection and deriving energy from it is done in the real world. In fact, most of the hits I got weren't from TF-related sites, but scientific sites.

As for FP Racing, I came across some interesting sites that may have influenced the paint-apps:
    http://www.funkypower.co.uk/
    http://www.fp-racing.us/

Most likely, though, is that it stands for Factory Performance, as that is a real type of racing, using factory-made performance parts (i.e. not available in the stock, or basic model, but made by the same company that made the car).

It's a shame Classics Mirage uses Lithonian drive trains... do you have any idea what a bitch it is to get replacement parts after a company's planet gets devoured?

Okay, I'm officially lost. Is this "P" person, Pieman? And if so, who is this person in addition to someone that apparently torqued Hasbro the wrong way?

Pieman was a joke in this thread... since Plasma Injection Energy abbreviates into PIE. Look up and see yourself. The P in question shall remain nameless.

I think I know who "P" is and if true is pretty shallow if you ask me, so I choose to believe that to not be true. Because I'd like to believe professionals were above something like that.

FP could stand for Faction Paradox, which means someone in the production crew is a Doctor Who fan.

It doesn't officially come from Hasbro. It's just a freelancer (?) occasially doing color layouts who saw the person in question make some outrageous claims even after he (the freelancer in question) already debunked them (I think it had something to do with the "Abrams Megatron tank" thing, which the person in question STILL believed to be true despite Hasbro "lying" about it being "just a prank by someone outside the company"), so when some people suggested that "FP" stands for "Fuck P...", he basically said "Well, that's not what it was meant to be, but I think this works too." It's not an official approval.

Well it wouldn't matter if he was Freelancer or not. He is still a professional in his field if he gets paid to do it. But if he said that's not what it stands for then, I guess that's fine with me...but if it doesn't stand for that I'd like to know what it does stand for.

I have an idea of who the mysterious "P" might be, but, again, I shall not say it here. Wouldn't want to stir up the pot anymore, right? Right? Hmmm...

That's completely untrue and sucks more than a huge pile of crap, just like every TF ever made except for God Fire Convoy.

(P.S. I really like the different slogans on Mirage).
