Make it three. Spied mine on the top shelf at Walmart amidst all the Primes. Box was wet?!?! Didn't care, just eliminated the desire to keep it in the box. One of my favorite figures in my whole collection.
My only problem is where to put the helmet when in robot mode, but not super mode. needs a place to put it on his body.
i love this guy, he rocks, simply the best figure i've seen for a long long time. heres some pics of my jetfire modified, the gerwalk mode, i just modified the legs so he could bend at the knees in this mode to look more natural. (already posted this in the feedback forum but owell lol) sorry if the pics are to bright and you can't see where the knees are bending at, but hopefully you can tell what i did, i just made it possible to pivot the legs up towards the wings so the thighs are parallel with the wings and then bend the knees towards the ground so he can actually stand with a stance in gerwalk mode instead of just stand straight up looking stiff.
I love the way your Classics shelf is developing, kenm2474. Congrats on the find, I'm hoping mine will get here in the next few days.
I keep one arm toward his side and tuck the helm in between his arm and body as if he is carrying it.
I have never understood the love for the gerwalk modes......it looks dumb and it might as well go to a full robot mode. That's just me though.......
ditto here on no gerwalk plz. we wait 20 years so that jetfire gets an original, non macross derived mold and when we finally get it fans ask 'can it do a gerwalk mode', wtf? its like, chick has a sex change than cross dresses -.-"
There is no smiley to show how hard I am laughing at that!!! Dayum I gotta have him! He is so on my Christmas list!!
My only gripe is that is a little smaller than I, somehow, thought he'd be. Super cool fig, though I've not opened him. I dig that Gerwalk mode as well. Hasbro really scored on this one and incorporated some great design features.
Gerwalk question is a rite of passage for all Jet-formers, as for where to put the helmet, I simply turn the helmet around (so it faces the back) and slide it down and over the piece directly behind Jetfire's head, and then turn the turrets towards the front, I'll take a picture if you can't figure out what I mean
