What are the chances of finding one at target, toysrus, walmart etc. instead of online.

Slim to none. Almost all stores have clearanced them out completely.

*remembers to nab the Classics Mirage at Walmart if it is still there*

TF Movies toys are the hot thing for retailers. Maybe Hasbro will be kind enough to add some previous Classics like Grimlock to the future Classics releases.

I had to go to Botcon to find one, very few and far between on eBay when I was looking.

Ack... I missed him, too. I saw Mirage once... so I went a block to the ATM and when I came back he was sold. :(

You might have some luck at TRU, since they never clearanced their classics like everyone else. You're only real hope of finding one at retail though is if a store finds a case burried somewhere and puts it out. That happened at at my local Target a couple weeks ago with a wave 2 case of the SW Saga Collection, so you never know.

I got one for my sons birthday last month via Amazon (a store at amazon), but paid through the nose, $40. (you do mean "Classics Grimlock", not G1 grimmy, right?)

EDIT, Sorry I read the title too fast, you asked not online, my bad.:dunce

If you're going to find it anywhere off-line, it'll be at TRU. Target and Wal-Mart got rid of their Classics ages ago, but TRU should still have a decent selection.

I've seen a few at a Walmart (think it was a Walmart ... might've been Target or TRU) about a week ago. Also spotted a couple Jetfires mixed in with the Movie stuff (that was definitely at a TRU). With enough searching you might still be able to find him at retail.
Also, while I don't think they have any more Grimlocks, the Walmart nearest to my house still has loads of Ramjet, Mirage, and Cliffjumpers (evidently the first wave sold well enough that they went hog-wild on ordering the wave with those guys).

Wal-Mart, K-Mart and possibly Toys R Us might have some. Classics is down to Cliffjumper, Mirage, Constructicon Deveastators and Mini-Con Wave 2.
Although at a Sears Essentials, they have those, lots of Rodimus, Bumblebee, Voyager Megs and Optimus, and several mini-con teams wave 2. That's where I got my Jetfire a couple weeks ago.

My wal mart had one Grimmy left, a few weeks ago. Haven't looked to see if it's still there. They've got a bumper crop of Mirages, though.

I wish they would put a few of them up, all I need is grimlock and dirge to complete my classics.

The most expensive and hardest to find Classics seem to be Starscream and Grimmy. Both are fetching prices over $30 on ebay pretty often. The most common are Prime, Bumblebee/Redrepaint, Rodimus, and Mirage.
