hey all, so what i have today is my take on Classic Cliffjumper. i never had an original Cliffjumper, and with the prices they are going for, doubt i will. SOOO, since RtS Bumblebee is basically a shelf warmer everywhere now, i picked up an extra 1, and made my own Cliffy :)

the figure was completely taken apart, seen in attachments, primed in black, sprayed in chrome/silver, then i used Fire Engine Red and faded from front to back. i thought this paint scheme would give him sorta a modern feel.

i did reshape the head a bit, not too much, just smoothed out the sides and face a bit to make him a look a lil different than Bs head. i also did not repaint or add the trailer on, also helping with distinguishing the figure as its own.

hope ya enjoy this, there are a few WiP pics in attachments.

    Thanks for looking!

thanks everyone!! im happy with how it turned out over all. i like how the normal Classic Cliffy looks, but didnt wanna just copy that design, and i knew i didnt wanna go all Red cuz that is too easy :)  so figured, its a custom, lets try something fun

the fade actually worked out easier than i thought it was going to, which made things much nicer. id say the hardest part was waiting 12hrs for the Red to cure right. the prime and silver dried instantly, but we were having some hot days(100+ degrees), so i think that took a tole on the curing time lol. other than that, i think there is prob only 3-4hrs of work into this guy.

Cool fade! One nitpick, the paint on the head is too thick. Other than that, it's sweet!

ya a lil bit. i had to hand paint that part in stead of spraying it. i used an acrylic paint for the red cuz its all i had that matched the color of the car. i had to put on a few coats cuz it was so thin. if i can get my hands on an extra/junker WFC Cliffy, i wanna do a head swap :)
