Why did you use Rodimus Prime's colors for Primus?

Yeah, I was gonna ask the same question. Primus is blue.
    Nevertheless, amazing job.

I was kinda wondering that to... although I think its a Homage to the g1 "primus" toy. Which was a gold redeco of the Rodimus Prime mold.

Nice job. Y'know, this would've made for an interesting contest. I would love to see different fantastic takes like this one from different people.

My God, that Clash of the Titans piece is breathtaking. I would love to get a Hi-Res version of that to use as a background.

Also, I love that Dinobot Vs. Megatron piece.

    They're all great actually.

thanks guys, was speaking with don on this could of gone with the gold primus look for a super charged look in general but the worry would be both having to much on the same tones. Don used more on the rodimus colours as i looked into this before and i wanted to keep within those areas and would like to say thanks to all the kind comments

more contrast would help with the drama, especially as it's in deep space, here's a quick and dirty mockup, this is still your original image with a couple of quick tweaks, not right at all obviously but should be enough to get the general idea:

    also here's a nice example -

    and with roughly your colours:

so you to get like that you just need to choose one consistent light source (electricity?) and then maybe a fainter secondary one behind (light in the background?) if you're feeling fancy, and then base all of the shadows on that.. if somehting is on the opposite side to the light it should be black. Take a toy, point a desk lamp at it, and then turn off the lights and shut the curtains, you'll see it clearly then.

With your coloring of Don F's artwork, this pic looks divinely fantastic.
