Yeah, Genis was a really looney...was it ever explained why he was loco? With regards registering...hmmm, I see your point but it would be a stretch to have him registered.

I think US Agent is leading Alpha/Omega Flight, according to the Civil War Choosing Sides one shot.

Yeah, they did. Apparently his mind couldn't cope with his cosmic senses. It alowed him to see every possible outcome of any situation he was in. So much information in such a short period of time was just too much for him.

Newsarama put up a few Marvel solicitations for April 2007:

    http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/Aprl07/solicitations.html

Omega Flight consists of US Agent (who btw was on the hunt for the Purple Man, who'd jumped to Canada), Beta Ray Bill... and I think Talisman, Guardian and Julia Carpenter.

Also on the Civil War subject, Joe Quesada indicated this in his Joe Fridays:

And the solicitation for the Wolverine Fallen Son issue:

I think Thunderbolts is going ot be a roundup of forgotten heroes. I mean in the current arc, they use Jack Flag.

Issue #3 stars Captain America (Bargaining), art by John Romita, Jr.

So Cap's not dying after all. Who do you think it is?

yea, in Choosing Sides, he was shown in the traditional US Agent gear rather than the crappy Cap ripoff looking suit from New Invaders.

As for Cap staying alive. maybe Reed dies.

i was talking more about the helmet and the bird-looking shield: http://www.geocities.com/avengers_usagent/spotlight.htm under "JOHNNY WALKER as USAGENT head of S.T.A.R.S. (SUPERHUMAN TACTICAL ACTIVITIES RESPONSE SQUAD"

The Cap ripoff from New Invaders really is crap. The other one didnt look so bad.
totally forgot about the NI version.

Has it been confirmed that Tony Stark will be in the Iron Man suit?

I have a wield theory and need to know that bit of information.

It's not totally confirmed; there IS an image in a preview for Mighty Avengers of Tony Stark in the armor, but they didn't specify whether it was a flashback or current time.

They also had a preview image of the new Iron man arc cover and it had a revealing development but was immediately taken down.

And if they kill Iron man, I'm done. I'm out. That's it.

Sorry, missed your post! Thanks for the answer, I haven't been following comics on a regular basis of late due to er, other distractions such as watching DVDs etc.

IMO, I doubt Marvel will kill off Capt. America or Iron-man (movie coming up) or any of the big guns...at least until World War Hulk.

Regards to Captain America..."theory" he represents the American dream or concept of "way of life". The pro-reg views are similar to those of police state; which goes against the basic concepts of democracy.

But then again, Marvel could surprise us and er, kill Cap off...

One thing I noticed is that comic writers will try to make the characters situation to be similar or same as in the movie. For example, Silver Surfer is once again Galactus' herald etc.

A thought I've had is that some how Tony Stark was responsible for the Stamford incident, and as a result get's arrested.
