I just received my City commander + add on kit in the mail today, and I'm a little confused on something. The shoulder missiles both have a peg coming out on the left side, so I can attach one just fine, but when I attach the other.. although it does fit because of the design, the peg just sticks out. It almost looks like I can remove the whole peg base and reverse it, but I'm afraid to force it. Anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.

edit: Correction.. missiles fit in vehicle mode, but will not attach in robot mode unless I put them on upside down or backwards..

the peg is not suppose to come out. the newer version of the mold has a hole where you can plug the missile launcher in trailer mode. the first version of the mold doesn't have that hole and it is why the peg sticks out.

What I mean, is.. I think they sent me two missiles from the same side as opposed to one for each side. Just wondering if I'm missing something or if they made a mistake.

They made a mistake, but it's correctable: the peg is on a removable clip, which will allow you to flip it around.

    -edit-

Actually, hold that thought, I need to check something.

I just had 2 glasses of wine so I hope I'm reading this right. But I just got the new release of city commander with the missiles and both fit in bot and alt mode just fine, 1 right, 1 left. No quirks or special situations with the pegs. So I think you did get 2 of the same side by mistake.

    A) Calm down. With two news credits, I'd kinda think you'd know how to do your research.

    B) So as not to be a complete dick in my post, you can still get them at TFSource or BBTS, I believe.

Okay, I'm looking at my DIA Commander missile launcher, which should be identical to your launchers. The peg clip plastic is fairly flexible, so you shouldn't be feeling that much resistance. The clip is attached via two small, shallow tabs that you should be able to maneuver off of the launcher without any tools or too much trouble.

Just pry at it gently and you should be able to figure it out.

It is an add-on kit for the classics ultra magnus mold.
You can use the classics/henkei prime mold as well, as most of it is hidden by the add-on set.

Im messing with my city commander and it feels like they are glued, as opposed to the dia commander which does not....you might have to send out an e-mail to the vendor you bought it from and see if they can help you out.

Man.. that was a pain! It definitely was glued there a bit, but I kept working at it and it finally popped off without breaking. It's a little loose now once it's reversed, but it's nothing some glue can't take care of. Thanks so much for helping! If anyone else has this same issue, be very gentle when you pry it off, it could easy snap in half.

Well, that's unforuntate. I guess the good news is, even if the OP can't get a replacement for free, the most it's gonna cost to replace is price of the add-on kit.

That's a relief, considering Soice's comments. Can you actually see where the clip was glued on, and how much glue was used?

Maybe it was glued to prevent loosening? Although, it's never been a problem on my DIA Commander. Shrugs.
