I recently opened (and fell in love with) my City Commander set. Only thing that I can't figure out: it came with a baggie that had his shoulder mounted rockets, a gun, and what appear to be fingers or something. Do any of you know what these small fingery plastic bits are? The instructions aren't much help and my imagination seems limited here.

    Thanks.

I think what you're referring to is the little pegs that you can use to fill in his screw holes (to give him a smooth finish with no holes in it).

Those pegs are to fill in the screw holes throughout the armor.

Thanks so much, guys. I'm going to start looking for holes right now.

Just about set, but there's this one piece that looks like a face. Can't find a hole for that one. Did I just get some extra parts that belonged to something else?

Yeah, you can switch out his face to give him a different look.

The faces slide into the bottom of the helmet. You just need to pinch the chin with your fingers and pull. Actually, iirc, there's a small groove in the back of the face that will let you pry it out with a small tool. The faces fit snugly, but shouldn't give you much resistance.

What set did these pegs come with? I bought the FP CC Upgrade kit and didn't get any pegs, just a baggie with about 3 or 4 different faces.

    Thanx

I believe you only received pegs if you ordered the second run of City Commanders, not the first run or the accessory set. Fansproject only started doing the pegs with Shadow Commander and subsequent releases.

They're a little iffy in my opinion. It's nice that Fansproject has given us a way to more-or-less permanently conceal the screws, but what if you actually needed to disassemble the armor?

Yeah, I don't know about the pegs and stuff. It's quite a nice item out of the box. I worry about digging around in it and ruining the kit. Magnus can deal with having a few screws visible. At least, he can now.

    Thanks for the info.

Personally everytime I've held the figure I never noticed the screw holes. Meaning, they do not detract from the figure.

    Thanx

You had to buy the upgrade kit, though, which probably means you own the first run armour, not the re-release. Only the re-release (and Shadow and DIA armours) have the screw holes that need covering. The original version is completely glued and pinned together.
