I was so impressed with NeO's worn-down City Commander look (seen here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/210692-my-city-commander.html) that I thought I'd try panel-lining for the first time, along with some Reprolabels. Frenzy_rumble gave me a link to some gundam markers on Ebay, which I purchased, but I couldn't wait so I just went down to Hobby Lobby and picked up a Faber-Castell PITT artist pen, lol. Sure enough, the ink started to run out by the time I got to the cab but the armor was my first priority and I got that finished. Apologies for the not-quite-stellar pics, my cell phone is the best thing I have at the moment. So, let the critiques begin. Be gentle, it's my first time.
Agree with solrac333, this looks awsome. But you, good sir, have balls of steel to do this. Or are rich and have like, 15 City Commander in your closet.
Thanks guys. Nope, don't have 15 but I do have one spare just in case. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get to work on the rest of the cab. I've got an extra Shadow Commander as well, I'm wondering about the possibilities of somehow making that into Motormaster.
That's awesome. I do panel lines on Gundam all the time, but I still don't want to start on CC in case I mess up. iDD
First off nice job on CC. I was lucky enough to get one my own I might do something, but maybe not its my call. But seriously you did a sweet ass job making CC your own.
Excellent work, looks a million times better. Glad that pen worked better than expected...but once you get those gundam markers, you'll know to stick with them.
Oh, I'm sure the gundam markers will make a world of difference. I just had that idea in mind (and more importantly, the spare time to do it) and I couldn't wait, lol.
You rock, this is awesome. I too scared to put the reprolabels on mine let alone trying to panel line him. Anyway I cant wait to see Motomaster
