Another nifty little bit: Backpack storage!

How? If you trim just a tiny bit away from the white tab on Magnus's back near the body, it fits securely in the groove along the side of the BFG.

It's a handy way to store it if you don't want to use it but don't want it just lying around on a shelf somewhere.

That's a really great & simple way to store the BFG.
I'm going to have to use this, now I just need to wait for my CC to get here.

I have to say Peaugh....after I watched your review yesterday (and an excellent one it was) I knew you were going to come up with something....

I could tell in the way you were talking "about" the bfg, and the options for it (holding it or just laying it down next to CC)

I thought right then that Peaugh was gonna come up with something for that.....

Looks cool stored on his back like that too :thumb

I've got to say, I prefer Magnus using the vane gun too. From the moment I saw the pics on Seibertron, I hated (well, maybe not hated, but it certainly made me glad I wasn't getting one) the fact that the BFG was such an integral part of the trailer. I know I'm not the only one who would have liked it a lot better if the gun was stashed in the middle, and you could remove it to make room for cars. At least you've given him an option for it in robot mode. Nicely done.

Just tried this mod, actually before cutting mags and it fits without the mod. Good eye. I'm sure it'll fit better after it's cut but if you don't want to cut your Magnus just stick it in and it's a decent fit

Oh and that was a great video review, as always. Thanks!

cool. I just use that horizontal slot on the gun and it sits flush, just at a 90 degree angle compared to these photos (sideways) with zero modding at all. I want to cut a square out of the middle of the guns, and add hinges so they flip inward in trailer mode so he'll at least look like a car carrier.

After looking at this thread again I think this is what I tried when I was refering to not needing to mod
