I've got Classics Nemesis Prime and Ultra Magnus and I am considering getting the City Commander armor for one or both of them. Problem is they've been out months ago and it's hard to find one at a decent price. Besides Evil-Bay where else can I find them in reasonable prices? Thanks.

Get the City Commander. Shadow Commander's cool and all, but makes him look like a black repaint of the Ultra Magnus. City Commander defines the character and really makes Ultra Magnus stand out from being Prime's bitch.

 

i really like shadow commander more, nemesis prime looks imposing with the armor and the sword

 

I have all 3 and Shadow Commander is my favorite one.

 

Thanks for the link Fosterlager, but I really want the Shadow Commander and it's a bitch to look for it online. Not even Ebay has it. If somebody can link me to a auction or a site that sells it I'd appreciate it lots.

 

How much of the robot is exposed after you put all the armour on? I was just looking at it on TFSource, and it looks like you really don't even need UM, you could used any of the same mold for it and you'd never know...

 

Exposed parts from the front includes the forearm vehicle cab kibble and upper thighs of the robot.

Most noticeable from the back is the exposed vehicle radiator grill.

Ok, I see it now. The main reason I ask is because I only have Nemesis Prime, and was wondering if I even needed UM. I can see where you would notice it now.

 

Nemesis would be a bit more off. I would hold off and see if they happen to bring more to market. I know that the rep at Cybcon here in Washington seemed to have plenty of the Shaddow sets in July (I think that ws when it was). I think all of us from Washington picked it up there (couldnt pass at $85). I would hold off and hope that there is either a second run, or if you can find someone to buy you one at Botcon next year if you are not attending.

That being said, City Commander is a must own.

 

i have all three as well, and i would get the city commander over the others, especially with the stuff the new one comes with, and since it was just reissued, it's a pretty good price, shadow commander didn't sell very fast at all, so i can't see them reissuing it any time soon
