Just pull? Mine comes out pretty easily.

I put in an order for mine. Frankly the CC kit head was what disappointed me the most; it doesn't fit in with the Classics aesthetic very well, so this works for me. I need the launchers too anyhoo.

Really? I think it fits just fine. Recognizable as the character it's supposed to be, but not a slavish recreation of the animation model. The change in the helmet's shape (the noseguard) reflects the heavy armor look of the kit itself.

Try a little WD-40. Not too much because it may get messy.

The helmet is fine, but the robot face looks like something out of Power Rangers or Gundam.

I think this new head is more appealing. Honestly I've always seen the CC head as an Animated meets classics style with the whole nose is really just part of the helmet deal. Not gonna buy one of these but I like it more

the more choices, the better so you can have exactly what you want. I'm fine with the CC head just the way it is right now

Hmm, this is definitely tempting.. I love a good head mold so I think I might try and get this if I can. It looks a little too good to pass up. Plus this particular mold looks a much more like Ultra Magnus, IMO.

Umm, anyway, do you have to be a member of SGC to get this set, or is it going to be sold elsewhere?

For SGC members only. Might even have to be an active member... I've had an account there for a couple years, but don't post. I tried viewing the photos in their main thread for the ordering, and wasn't able to see them.

i like the new head.... but why so little produced? and why only to members? maybe bbts will get a hold of some then i would get.... but limiting it to members only when most off the people who bought c/c aren't members is kinda weird...but what ever if i can get a hold of a set i would most def buy but if not no loss fansproject set is awesome still with out it..but the collector in me still wants it...:(

The individual who is making it, is probably just doing this as a favor for his fellow board members, and isn't making much profit off of it. So it makes sense its a limited run and exclusive to those members only. I personally think they should keep it as an exclusive, otherwise, an outsider might get a hold of it, and start making cheap knockoffs and charging $50+ for a set.

They have stated that the initial batch is a nod and a thank you for support from their Singaporean members. I logged in after four years' inactivity on the site to get to the source myself. They are open to international orders, but will not be making the kit available to overseas buyers until their second batch. This is limited to 50 for their Singaporean members, with an overall 200 to be made.

Wow, both sculpts are really great for different reasons. Either way, top notch sculpts. Wish I had bought the City Commander set, but that would've meant me getting "white Prime" which was already too late. So after market/eBay + CC would've meant well over $100 for a true Classics Magnus. I guess I can just drool at the pictures and use the money for more Henkei. :scalper

Interesting head, I can see why some people prefer it over the CC one. Myself? I dont own Magnus or CC...

One way to avoid that is mass-producing and charging $20.
