Assuming it's going to be called "TF: Heroes."

If they drew from the Marvel TF mythology .... I would FREAK! :-O

    That would be AWESOME!!!

Part of my thread title got deleted. It was supposed to say "Could we ever see Circuit Breaker, the Mechanic or the Roadjammers in TF: Heroes."

I know there were liscensing issues that kept CB from ever appearing outside Transformers (except for a cameo in the Secret Wars). A villain called "the Mechanic" is in Marvel comics, but he has never been said to be the same on from Transformers.

Circuit Breaker is extremely unlikely. The fact that she appeared in Secret Wars cemented her position as a semi-Marvel character. The rest I'n not so sure since they were rather low-key. The only MArvel character I remember ever returning is Walter Barnett, who was used outside of the Marvel comics in the Collector's club classics comic (since the classics comic is based in the AMrvel US universe)

I do wish to see G B Blackrock appear in some new iteration of Transformers one of these days. Having a corporate leader as an ally makes an interesting human-transformer relationship.

I remember that we heard from Dreamwave that the Marvel characters were a no-go during their run... so I'm guessing it's still the same. Seeing them in a cartoon would be highly unlikely.

But, like Op_Prime, I'd like to see Blackrock, as well.

Wouldn't mind seeing Circuit Breaker again, but the rest deserve their spot in eternal limbo.

I would dig this. Peripheral characters in an animated series are likely to be fairly forgettable, so it would be cool if they made them memorable this way.

I think a character like Circuit Breaker would be excellent, given TF Animated has the Transformers fighting "evil humans". A human who can control machines, turn the Autobots against each other and even perhaps combine bits of junk and scrap into a big mechanical monster to fight the Autobots would be cool.

Actually, now that I think of the concept, I can think of a handful of different non-Transformer villains that would work pretty well with the Transformers mythos. But if only one is brought back from the history of Transformers, it has to be Circuit Breaker. Even if you change the name, look and all you keep are the powers and the motive (hates robots with a passion) she'd still work.

maybe you'll get lucky and they'll show up during the avengers crossover, but I doubt it.

I'd like to see Alpha Trion and Arcee as Robot Heroes first, and they are more likely than Circut Breaker.

Of all the characters you mention I like Circuit Breaker the best. Her motivations are very interesting and, although she is a human, fit well within the Transformers Mythos.

Much better than just having the Neo-Knights just kind of show up out of nowhere.
"Oh, hi. We are not part of the regular Marvel Universe, but we also have super-powers."

However, I know he is not human, but there is one secondary non-Transformers character I would love to see show up in an animated TF cartoon.

    Death's Head, yes.

I think Death's Head has the least chance of all in appearing in a TF cartoon anytime soon. There is absolutely no grey area as to whom owns the rights to the character, and it is most definitely MArvel. The only way I see him teaming up with TFs any time soon is if the upcoming Avengers/Transformers crossover does well and Marvel partners up with IDW for more future crossovers.

I think you misunderstood. He's not talking about Robot Heroes the toyline. He's talking about the upcoming Animated Series, which was tentatively referred to as Heroes but is no longer the title, in which the Autobots fight human villans.

As to the question, I don't think any of those characters are likely to appear in the show. They're all basically variations on the same theme (humans using Cybertronian technology to turn the tables on the robots).

I think it's possible and even quite likely that that theme will be repeated at least once in the show, just not using those particular characters.

IIRC, at first they're all 'in disguise' and trying to remain that way. But of course eventually they'll be outed.

At that point I can totally see a Robot Master-type showing up, for the same reasons he did in the Marvel comic. :D

--Moony, who is probably one of the only humans who liked Finkleburg by the time he was written out in 'Decepticon Graffiti', and who probably died early of a heart attack thanks to all the junk food the 'cons fed him :D
