Happy Cinco de Mayo. Well, I don't really care, as I work in a Mexican restaurant still, but it is still nevertheless a good reason to drink some margaritas or cervesas.

On another note, what the hell is the name of the stereotypical Mexican folk song or whatever that is usually played today? My only reference I can give you is the song that is played at "Casa Bonita" when Cartman fools butters into staying in the bomb shelter so that he can take his spot to celebrate Kyle's birthday.

I just got back from the bars and they were way more populated than they had been the last few times I had been up there. We made sure to get a shooter with tequila in it, not to celebrate or anything, just seemed appropriate.

I'm more excited about "Trece de Mayo". Cause that's my birthday! :)

And as for the sterotypical Mexican Folksong, I would imagine you mean "La Cucaracha". I don't remember if it was in that episode of South Park or not.

No, September 16 is the Mexican Independence day. May 5 was the turning point in the war for Mexican Independence where the Mexicans won an important battle in Puebla, Mexico which is about 2 hours south of Mexico City.
