Hey, here's the latest picture I finished in my attempt to get better at drawing and photoshopping. It's Cicadacon, from the Tripredacus Coucil, with a bit more human-like porportions. I tried for more highlights and shading like someone suggested last time. Anyways, here it is, Suggestions ? you're getting better... but just picture a light source and stick to it... best bet is to get a lamp (preferably one of those kinds you can move around like the lamp from the Pixar intro's) and put it directly at a toy... you can see where highlights show up and where shadows occur.... a little trick Josh taught me back in the day
Thanks! Yeah, lots of ppl have told me to work my lighting. I guess I should stick to toys that I own then. lol , time to raid the BW toy boxes again
Yeah just keep practicing practicing practicing... I've been coloring for about 4 years goin on and I still have loads to learn! It's not a daunting task but a fun one!
