Hey guys, I've been working on this on and off for the past few days and I finally feel finished with it. The base for this was a Metasaurs Tyrannotron, which I got off of Amazon for $8.

For a $8 kit, this guy is pretty big. He can fit most Legends figures and some Scouts in his mouth!
I made Full-Tilt out of an Armada Liftor, and he connects onto Trypticon's chest by a modified Lego plug on Trypticon's front.

The body is articulated completely with ball-joints, which gives off a wide range of movement.
He's pretty tall too, getting a maximum height of over 14 inches.

Transforming Trypricon is as easy as 1...

    ...2...
    ...3!

Trypticon's alt-mode gives you a nice Artillery Base mode, similar to his original Base mode.
Full-Tilt can even man the cannons while in Base mode!
Any and all criticism is welcomed, but right now I'm liking this guy as he is.

    Theres no robot mode...

...and yet that's not a problem, considering the sheer AWESOMENESS powering those jaws! Trypticon looks great!

I just think you should be nicer to Breacher, that's all. :lol

It's not a problem because TRYPTICON has no robot mode, his dino mode IS his robot mode.

This is nicely done, I'm not familiar with the base toys, but it sounds like you executed this VERY well given what you started with!

To all those wondering about how the material holds together on these kits, the foam board feels more like a strange mix between paper and Styrene plastic. It's flexible in a way that it doesn't feel like it will break apart unless excessive force is used. All the angle areas are formed by cuts in the foam similar to the folds done in Papercraft. The kit doesn't require any glue, but I used some in some areas to keep a few pieces from popping out. Here's a pic showing the maximum bend on a single piece from a different kit from the same line (For those wondering, it's a Brachiosaurus with an aircraft carrier on its back
