    Hi everyone,

Quick post of a touch up i did for my custom Prowl from before. Did a blackwash then some metallic highlights on shoulder, thigh, and head.

Mashed my classics prowl with a henkei to get a nice matching shade if white with the TR Prowl head.

Sides of his shoulder and thighs have a minor gold highlight.

Dremeled the shoulders so it sits at a better looking angle.

Just touching up my g1 season 1 crew touched up for my mpp voyager Prime :)

    Will do Jazz next!

I’m thinking of doing this mod for my own prowl, how did you manage to get the headswap done?

Wow, the head is a MAJOR improvement! Still not a fan of this mold's "giraffe/turtleneck".

    AMAZING job nonetheless!

    Thanks everyone :)

I took a soldering iron and hotpinned off the metal pin joint.

Then I drilled a hole wide enough to fit an extra ball joint which is actually a head of a TR headmaster, and attached the head.

I used a bit of hot glue to fill the gap in the female joint of the Prowl head, and voila!

I designed a replacement panel but stayed with the stock head.

Is that panel by chance available on shapeways by any chance? I’m considering of doing a similar custom to this figure

However if its not available there..

Would it be ideal to shave down that panel to make it more flatter? Or is it a bad idea

Hi. Just uploaded the neck plate to Shapeways, along with the deluxe open grip hands that I designed.
Here is the link to the neck plate...

Really nice paintwork and the shoulder mod is subtle but works well.

Nice. Wish there was a way to replace the entire spring-loaded neck assembly so it doesn't stick out so far though.

Any pics with the shoulder rockets exposed?

U could shave it down. I did mine a lil bit. If you do put a CW prowl head on, notice his chin stub. You will need to shave the panel a bit so that the head can fit and tilt on a ball joint.

Thanks! I was going for subtle ;)

I used gold highlights to add to the Japanese Police’s Tokugawa badge look.

    I attached a pic :)

Never really pictured Prowl with shoulder cannons though since he didnt have them in the cartoon and it helps me distinguish bluestreak and smokescreen IMO.
