You're a gentleman and a scholar, good sir.  

 

Blitzwing is my favorite Decepticon triple changer, if not most favorite from either faction. His G1 iteration was one of my favorite toys when I was younger and the Titans Return version is pretty dang good too.


I love this tank mode. I had to hide the wings better because I felt it took away from the aesthetic of the tank with the official transformation. Looks much better in my opinion and gives the tank more character I think.

Very nicely done! But just like the G1 toy, the jet mode is my favorite.


This reminds me so much of the G1 version, it’s so cool. I still love the purple and I love that just like the G1 toy, you can use the tank turret to use for landing gear or a gun turret for the jet.
From the right angle the turret can even tilt up to make it look like Blitzwing is in the middle of takeoff. Very nice touch!

Very unique engineering, yes for him and TR Megatron, it’s such a clever design for folding stuff away. Such a nice silhouette, it’s classic Blitzwing.

I love being able to use his tailfins to help stabilize him in some cool dynamic poses.
The accessories he came with were well done, but I just felt they were both too small for him. So I gave him T30 Blitzwing’s sword and one of the guns that came with my son’s RID Stormshot. They seemed more fitting for him. I gave his original sword to TR Octane and his gun to CW Swindle because I lost his other one.

Overall I was highly impressed with TR Blitzwing. All 3 of his modes are wonderful and faithful updates to his G1 counterpart. He may still be my favorite triple changer of all time, but TR Broadside and T30 Springer give him a bit of a run for his money.

I keep Betatron formed in spite of having Sky Reign and Computron. Just got a fondness for the Silverbolt mold, and I think he looks neat in his simplicity of just having five components.
