That Onslaught is just a fantastic figure, they really hit it out of the park with that one.

some company did make it, but it's OS Leader sized so not suited to classics scale.
Hello Kibble Free Arms Prime aka Old Man Freeformer.

I gave mine to my four year old about a week or two ago, she is in love with it.

At least she was, until she got Universe Silverbolt with the batteries in it.

Hey, I noticed that one of the external hinges that keeps the chestplate on CW Onslaught has stressed and cracked, thanks to one too many times accidentally trying to fold the chestpiece down like his moldmate, Hot Spot. Should I try fixing it, and how? Or should I just recycle him and get a new one off ebay or something, albeit to be more gentle.

What Megatron figure, third party or KO would you say is the exact same height as KO MP-10 V?

Closest I've seen is Toyworld Hegemon with FireFair add-on feet (he's a touch too short without them), or Maketoys Rioter Despotron (who's too far from G1 for my collection, but maybe not for others). I'm using the GT Tyrant OS KO, which is good but a bit too large.

Grand Scourge looks so good with the Baldigus limbs. Really irked at myself for missing out on him!

I don't even care that they called him Onslaught. I love just about every version of the Combaticons, mostly for being cool military vehicles - more than their personalities which are often left up to your own imagination - they are ciphers to me - not as clearly defined as other characters, mostly better how you remember them, than how they actually are.

The thing I love about that classics/CHUG Riot Onslaught, is that he can be just about any character you want him to be - and he's a great looking bot with a fun transformation. I've been after one for ages, and last Sunday a local guy I've never met before stopped in to pick up something for another collector/friend, and had a box of his stuff he was selling.

So a total welcome surprise start to my Sunday, picking up that unruly mob, (mostly cheap junkers other than Onslaught, pre loved toys...) then off the movies to see the new Spider-Man which was brilliant.

Sometimes life is full of wonderful unexpected surprises.

How do you do the backgrounds? Are you photographing on a white backdrop, or altering them afterward?
    Those pics look rather awesome.
Some of my fav photo experiments were when I got fed up trying to sleep and instead mucked about with toys. That's what lead to my Frankenbeiner Bruticus Combinations, one of which had about 10 or 11 deluxe toys combined into one Bruticus.

    Thanks!

I have a white backdrop that I use, about 2' x 4'. Ideally, I'd like to get one around 6' x 6' to be able to zoom out further without the edges showing as well as a better camera, but it's good enough for now :)

Nice. Sometimes when those reviewers have to review a titan class toy - I feel their pain - trying to get the damn things in frame and also not showing off everything else in the room, or the backdrop being "too small" LOL.
