Eh? It's like what I said before. He never acknowledged his original teacher. At least give props to Shin Jae for teaching him and introducing him to training. There's more to martial arts then just fighting and techniques. At least honor your first teacher. Or at least acknowledge him.
I know I've seen an interview on one talk show or another where they mentioned the Chuck Norris facts and he not only thought they were funny but was playing along with the whole charade. The only reason he's raising his hackles now is because he's in the Republican spotlight. This isn't the one I saw, but here's an example:

Does the words from his senior students and most of the association count? As for his abilities, there are far more people better than him. There's always someone better.
Sure, if it was referenced somewhere besides "people you know." But if his senior students are badmouthing him, doesn't that mean they're not honoring him? And if they're not honoring him, doesn't that make them "sucky martial artists?" And doesn't that go a long ways towards undermining their credibility?

Seems like a somewhat lame lawsuit, yes. However, ultimate FAIL goes to Penguin for publishing and selling a list of internet meme snippets they surely didn't write.
Just because he's offended by this doesn't make him a "little bitch." He has every right to protect his image.
I don't know of anyone who has said that Norris is THE BEST. Sure, as you said, there is always someone better.
Exactly. And reading the article, I didn't see anything mentioning Penguin approaching Chuck for his permission. A website's one thing, but you're publishing a book to make money.
Exactly, it all boils down to the fact that someone is making money using Chuck Norris' name, and he's not seeing a dime.
Ditto. As for his martial arts, I highly respect him for what he has done. Not only has he mastered Tang Soo Do, but also Judo and several other different martial arts. Yes, even though many has only seen his kicks, he is very proficient in many other moves. Now, he may not be the best, but he's definitely up there as one of the greats.
Chuck Norris isn't a tough guy anymore. He hasn't actually DONE anything in a long time- at least, I've not seen him in any action movies... or anything really. Even Bruce Willis is still a badass. FWIW Vin Diesel has pretty much upped Chuck Norris on the badass factor, if just because Riddick can SEE IN THE DARK!
