30,000 Yen = considered OK pricing for me. Most watches go for more than double that price, upwards of 60,000 yen...so........yeah, if they bump it down to 20,000 yen, i might bite :D

"Hey, looks, peeps! My watch TRANSFORMS and looks kickass!" :D

"What can your ROLEX do?!" :D  :lol

the watch I'm currently busting glows in the dark, so if these watches could transform, tell the time AND glow in the dark! Well, wow that would be a winner.

There really needs to be usage of glow in the dark in Transformers more anyway. Period.

Does anyone know anything about this Seahope company? Looking at their web site and Google image search it looks like they do some interesting watch designs and electronics/displays in those watches. I don't think anything they do is going to be compelling enough for me to get one of these, but the fact that Takara involved another company with some experience in unique watches gives me a bit of confidence that this might not be a complete junk-pile.

This sounds like a bad idea. Last time around they were already way too expensive..and not really that good looking either.

Does Japan know the 'crisis' is still going?
