That looks interesting in some ways, yet horrible in others.

There's no robot mode pics on the guy's ebay link, and from what I can see from the back of the truck mode, he didn't even paint the arms or legs completely, so the robot mode might be essentially unchanged beyond the paint aps from the vehicle mode that are visible in robot mode.

Insurance if the auction hits thousands of dollars? Not likely. The custom detailed prime they did was much much better than Christmas Prime, and it only went for 104.50

Again, I'd say interesting idea, but poor execution.

    That... is... dire.

What the hell was the guy thinking?

How can it be Christmas Prime without a Chirstmas hat or stocking or mince pie?

Its just a badly bashed Prime smeared with red and green paint.

From the seller's description, "Over the course of this auction more detail WILL be added. I won't change the red and green colors because I want to stay true to the CHRISTMAS COLORS."

I'd think that someone would want to finish the piece before posting it. *shrugs*

^From this, does anyone know who the seller is?

Personally, I think what the seller has done is STUPID. He could have gotten more money for a loose Prime. Plus, to make things worse, he does not have the item finished & does not have pictures of the finished item.

And it's also so obvious that he used all that crap in his auction (audio, animated gifs, etc) to try and make it look snazzy for attention and also to try and sell the item.

What makes you think it's a joke? Seems like the guy is actually trying to sell that turd to me.

Lame, expensive joke, played on nobody but himself.

That's horrible. That's barely Christmas themed at all, just red a green. No, "Happy Holidays" or "Merry Christmas" anywhere?
