I'd have paid $30.00+ shipping for it but It's not something I have a need for at $50.00+ mainly because I don't tend to play with G1 toys, and I don't have a spare Devastator.

If I ever find one of those Black or White Knockoffs for a lot less than $80.00 I might consider it for that.

Oh and I'm not sure I'm really feeling the ol' Crotch plate still.

I think it looks pretty great, and the price is FAR more appealing than CD.

This is a must buy for me. I own a G1 Devastator and the only parts I have from Crazy Devy is the head and legs. I've been wanting to bite on the remaining parts (hands, gun, forearms, chest shield, etc) but just the hands and gun are like $40!! At $50, this is actually a great deal considering you're getting everything from head to feet.

I know some people say Giant this Hercules that but some of us can't really afford $100/bot for a Devastator and these are great alternatives for some of us to at least have a representation of Devy in our collection.

Placing my Preorder as we speak..

I think I'll get a 2nd Devy for this kit. Doesn't look as good/clean as the CD one but the poseability is better.

That plastic is looking a little KO-ish.
    i.e. Megablocks Plastic

And I can't quite tell if this is going to have the same problem as tthe CD kit where you have to bend the knees the wrong way so Devs doesn't fall over backwards.

Which is actually what the original G1 waist piece did: place Scrapper and Mixmaster towards the back of the figure rather than right underneath the torso.

I've been wondering how these other kits were going to tackle that problem, but it looks like they have to go about it the same way the CD kit did. Although at least these new kits have a benefit of a thigh swivel, which should help make it look less obvious.

I like it, what I like more is the price. Glad to finally start seeing some groups go for cool AND low price.

I will keep my eye on this set as I won't be buying it currently but who knows what 2012 will bring. :)

I just don't understand how the preorder price was $30 cheaper then the final price.

Having said that, I am still thinking of getting this to mix and match with the CrazyDevy stuff I have.

The thing I want to know is:
    - Are those Hips/Thighs ratcheting or not?
    - Will this work on the KOs?

SO I went to CD site and added up what this set would cost if purchased through CD.

    CD = $160.
Xtransbot Price (even at BBTS) $50. $40 at Robotkingdom.com

That is what I call 3rd party evolution.

    EDIT

    This item includes:

    Head with LED ×1
    Forearm ×2
    Elbow ×2
    Fist with finger actions ×2
    Chest Armour ×1
    Waist Armour ×1
    Abdomen ×1
    Thigh× 2
    360 Degree Revolvable Waist Parts × 2
    Gun ×1
    G1 colour Cement Mixer ×1
    Bio Card ×7
    Instruction Manual x 1

I had no clue it came with some of the stuff mentioned on the BBTS page. WOW these guys just rocked CD's world.

Going to wait to see a review before buying. I am afraid this thing will end up being cheaply constructed.

I do somewhat like the look though.

If reviews are good, quality is good and the price doesn't increase again I'll buy an encore and put this on it.

The poses are interesting though and it looks like Devy is leaning against the wall in some of the photos.

Again, going to wait for a review.

Waist plate and chest piece look like crap but I think that last CD Devastator upgrade included that so you could buy that separately. Im passing, im happy enough with the CD set

I sold my CD stuff in anticipation of getting one of these sets.
I think I'm leaning more to the JB set until I see a pre-order price for it.
