Lets try to talk positive and appreciate Chip. I appreciate that he wasn't in season 3.
All you need is COURAGE!
When my girlfriend forces me to watch Glee with her, I pretend "Artie" is chip.
I would have appreciated it if Wheeljack put a muzzle on Chip.
EDIT: sorry, a sound dampener
I like Chip.
I"m assuming that in the 80's having a disability gives you super high intelligence, go chip I guess...
Chip is a pretty cool guy. He tears floppy disks and doesn't afraid of anything.
He's good at controlling robots and beating up Decepticons with them.
I don't mind Chip, and I didn't mind him as a kid. Remember, that's who the cartoon was for, KIDS.
He, unlike Ironhide, knows a lot about Earth history.
I appreciate that he wasn't in the comics. I could avoid him almost completely.
Thank you, Chip.
Yup ... as seen in Dr Smoov's Heavy Metal Fight:

Mmmmm, potato chips.
No one's ever really disabled as long as he has courage!!
Artie from Glee made me think of Chip too... and Dr. Finklestein lol.
"Chip, if you don't STFU...."
Chip was ok, shame he didn't appear in season three, he could really come unto his own as a science advisor working with Perceptor.
As far as human companions he sure beats Daniel, kicker and the kids from Armada at any rate.
At least Spike had a friend.
Whatever happened to Chip? Was his vanishing act ever covered in fiction if not the series? I known his last animated appearance was in Scramble City.
Well whatever happened to him, if he was still alive i bet he was pissed that Marrisa Faireborn ( ithink it was her you know the chick from ROOP) was able to walk again with a exo-suit.
Separate names with a comma.
