Did they use cheaper plastic? If the plastic feels comparable to the Russian release, I might pick one up.

That is the funniest shit I have seen today. Granted its early, but I suspect nothing will top that for the rest of the day.

I wonder if the instruction manual is all bad chinglish?

'motor start button depress for the effect of afterburner. use of too much this feature and plane explosion may happen actually.'

Yeah, Russia should really be concerned about design theft. (Also, "reverse engineering" is nothing new.)

Right, like US didn't do that at all. One only has to look at MIG-25 and F-15.

You're talking about design theft, russians are complaining about straight up copying. That chinese plane is a complete copy of the SU-33.

While Buran orbiter looks almost the same as Space Shuttle, it uses Soviet technology for operation and the Energia rocket is a completely new design that trumps the SS's delivery vehicle.

In Soviet Russia, we make own airplane. In Communist China, we copy airplane.

It's the best I could come up with :lol

Uh, I wasn't making any sort of claim of superiority (because nationalism is ridiculous), merely pointing to a very superficial example of hypocrisy on the part of Russia. (Also, I guess it needs to be repeated, but "reverse engineering" is nothing new.)

Anyhow, if this really is a precise "copy" of the plane, I'll personally offer my condolences to Russia for the theft of the design of their war machine. Truly, Russia, or any other arms maker, deserves our sympathy for any hinderance to their valuable service to humanity.

Korea takes the cake for me. when i read that they went to international auto shows and before the displays could make it back to their respective factories, there were Korean KOs on the street.
    man, that's just (illegally) awesome.

as for this, if they could make KO D-I-Y jet fighter kits, I'd like a SU-34 and maybe a Mig-25 in Blitzwing colors...
(The Pentagon won't mind me using them as cropdusters, right?)

It isn't a full fledged copy, Chinese got a hold on SU-33 prototype and based on that they made this copy with local avionics and engines.

This is the second time they copied a Sukhoi fighter. First they got a hold of a license to produce about 200 SU-27SK planes with clearly stipulated terms that the equipment and parts provided by the russians will be used for the manufacture of the said 200 planes. The deal fell through after russians discovered China had started to reverse engineer the parts and manufacturing equipment. After that happened Chinese went and got ahold of the SU-33 prototype from Ukraine.

    China roughly translates to I-Clone.

Guy's, don't visit China, you might be cloned too! LOL!

No offense intended, but can't Chinese come up with their OWN shit?

Is it available at dollar stores like the rest of the KO's? I don't want to pay more than $2.75 for one.
