    Is that a good price for that book? Ryan (Seibertron owner) sells stuff kind of high.

    yeah but unless you read chinese it is worthless except for the glossy pictures...not worth $30 plus shipping to me...plus it is missing 16 pages.

    I have the exact same copy that I bought from G1-Junkie and I must say that it's well worth it regardless if you can't read Chinese.

    The pictures and sketches make up for it and for $30... Not bad at all.

    Tons of G1 goodness for sure.

    Plus the original is hard to find and cost a lot.

    Nah man, no English version exists.
    Keep in mind however that the Transformer names are almost all in English.
    I'm totally hooked on mine, regardless of the of the language.
    Including the Japanese prints, these books are the only books in existence that catalogs all of the G1 toys. (US, Japanese, and European releases).

    Because back then, some of us imported the original from Japan & it cost approximately USD $51 already.

    Last checked, the local toy shops are now selling these for about USD $37 while they were USD $18 a season ago.
