Yea...but my order with yanna998 is about 3 weeks old now. Ordered on May 30. Tracking stopped updating as soon as it hit US... and been "at sorting center" for 2 weeks now. I just feel like its a fake or dead package. If it comes... ill lift the dispute. Funny thing is, after 2 days of filing the dispute, he still has not responded at all. That makes me feel better about what i did. But like i said, if it comes ill give him his money.

 

How long did you wait before you filed a claim?

Also I was just looking at the pattern in his feedback. It seems that he ships things out in bulk to multiple locations based on the feedback being left on the same day.

 

Hmmm... ok I'll wait about 3 weeks for the tracking and I'll try contacting him during that time frame...once a week is good, shows I'm not being a pest. That would at least be in good faith on my part. I'll just be cool as I really want my Sunrurge. But I'll start to act with a claim after the 4th week. That's plenty of time.

I waited 15 days after I got the tracking number and it never updated. Still says not valid. Sent yanna 4 emails with no response to any of them. At first I figured the wrong number was sent but it feels more like it's probably a bunk tracking number.

Would anyone happen to know the length of time it can take a tracking number to go live on China Post's website?

I was informed by wzwu66886 that my Wei Jiang M01B would be in the post yesterday but the tracking no still isn't recognised on China Post's site. Maybe I'm being impatient but just wanted to make sure.

 

Oh ok... but now I'm sort of concerned. 3 weeks seems like it's more than enough time for these numbers to update. That's being generous. I'll take action after that.

On another note, since PayPal is constantly getting complaints about China sellers, why don't they start freezing their accounts until the actual item arrives. At least people have an opportunity to get their money back. I know it would suck for the ones that ship items out on time but sometimes to stop stuff like this from happening, the good have to suffer with the bad.

 

My rule of thumb is if you don't have an ACTIVE tracking number within 4 or 5 days of ordering then notify the seller. No matter what the seller replies with(or if they don't reply at all) if you reach day 7 and there is still no ACTIVE tracking number then CALL Paypal (speak to a live agent) for a refund. Paypal will have your money back to you in 10 days or less from when you called them. I wouldn't waste time waiting 2 or 3 weeks giving the seller the benefit of the doubt. They know what they're doing. They didn't wait 2 or 3 weeks to pocket your money. That's just how I would do it.
