I tried visiting the site as I always do and noticed the usual link doesn't work anymore.

...That sucks, I really like shopping at Chimungmung
I'm hoping (given the error message) that it's just a case of they ran out of bandwidth and will be back tomorrow.

It's to do with use. Many sites pay for an amount of page views per month, like renting the site for a certain number of views. If a lot of people view that site then they might exceed their bandwidth quota and it shuts down and they either have to wait until the next month when it resets or pay an additional cost to get their site back up again right away. Some sites just have limits set on them, Have to pick the ones that are best for your needs.
Or something like that. A pal of mine used to run a music promo site and she was always bitching about running out of bandwidth during months she carried any big name acts. I suppose the trick is to make enough money off the site that it always covers the cost of additional view numbers.
Another pal of mine pays so his messageboard doesn't get adverts forced onto it. He pays for a certain number of page views a month to be advert-free. His paying essentially replaces the revenue that would've been generated by the adverts themselves. Once he hits that limit the adverts return until the next month or he can just pay again right away to clear them.
Basically there are lots of options like this.

This seemed more appropriate in the 3rd Party/KO forum, but that thread was locked...so for whatever it's worth, I saw this posted over on Seibertron. Make of it what you will:

Well, a while ago, he moved all his KO toys into a "Used" section of his site, and I wondered if that was due to some obligation, or desire to hide some of the more obvious KO toys.

Though... he's in China, isn't he? How much leverage could Hasbro exert on some dude selling local toy robots from China? A lot of these things are the same toys that turn up in dollar stores and chinatowns all over North America... it's not like they're stolen factory samples, or whatever.

KOtoys.com was also in China and apparently Hasbro got to them too... or something... I guess? I dunno, when we can't get actual full details it's really hard to know.
