I'll be 34 this month and I carry my goods in a childs backpack.. technically a childs Simpsons suitcase which I purchased in the greatest store there ever was, "Love Saves The Day" which has sadly since closed. Sometimes if I'm carrying very important goods I'll use a my pet monster handcuff to secure it to my arm. I've always done as such. I don't do these things to be trendy in fact, I'm so wrapped up in my own ideas I don't even know what the current trends are.. and honestly by the time things become "trendy" they are very well worn within the truly "hip" crowd. Those of you who think you know peoples intentions behind their garment selection sound like my grandfather, and he's been dead for some time. Now I'm off to put on my 2 different colored Chuck Taylors with neon green laces, hop on my banana seat bike & enjoy being a free man in America! *When I was in High School 74% of the students wore the same pair of Nikes, the same North Face coat & the same Yankees cap. were they trying to be trendy? No. Were they a bunch of faceless conformists with not an original idea among them? Absolutely.
Do kids not get homework anymore. How can a kids backpack carry anything. Or is it just a bag for their drugs, porn and guns.
iunno *shrug* Personally, my dragon backpack is a good companion when I go out, thou he rarely stores anything. It's kinda neat, he looks like a chara I drew for a friend. They don't sell them anymore, I think because his blue mane keeps getting stuck in the zipper. I think it started back in 04, when girls started wearing awesome Winnie the Pooh backpacks. then guys, being gentlemen, wanted to impress their lady friends, began wearing Spongebob backpacks. Spongbobs the shit man
Can't answer about a high school students, but I have two TF backpacks - one's Bee and the other has all the ROTF Autobots (except for The Twins and Ratchet). I've been out of high school for a while.
You should be studying, not fiddling around on that intra-net thing, young man! *shakes cane at you* Haha, I don't know really... This, I guess. ^^^
when Hot Topic sells it, the ignorant little social climbing brats will want it. I had to go there to get a pair of shoes for my niece's birthday (Van's) and while there, a kid not old enough to know what the hell a Smurf was walked in with a Smurf backpack 1/3 the size of her own purse. but really, maybe they have these things for the same reason i have my TF shirts and my G1 TF folder from the 80s i still use to keep homework in... we don't care what others think as long as we like it.
Amen. Why would a boy deliberately try to give himself camel-toe!? Every time I see it, I just remind myself that at least they're decreasing their chance of reproducing and all is well. Silly little mop-heads. Years from now, they'll look back and say "what the hell was I thinking?" much like I do when I see an old picture of myself wearing flannel...in Florida
With a bazillion teens into anime' of all types and styles from hundreds of shows and series, why not? Just because they are older it shouldn't mean they can't have a fun backpack. Boring black and blue backpacks are for college..eh, maybe not even then.
