That's right! I'm writing an ongoing serious comic! That's not to say I'll be abandoning Anthologies! Though a few more entries would be nice... Anyhoo, this story is about Micromasters, so all the characters are Legends class, and won't have their 'proper' names. This first update is a bit of a teaser/prequel. EDIT: Next update will have smaller pictures, I promise! And 'outdoor' scenes are intentionally bleached.
Ok, this is a good idea. Using small figures gives you a lot to work with. Mini-Cons could work as well.
Micromasters, eh? Is this meant to fit into the period between G1 and Beast Wars (well, as best it can, I know the continuity is more than a little messed up) or be completely stand alone? From that little teaser I can't really tell what's going on or anything about the story (although that's probably the point) but I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got planned.
I'm starting off with a limited cast, due to limited toys. Hopefully I'll pick up the 12 Mini-Con some time... I was originally going to set a story in between G1 and BW about life on Cybertron under Pax Cybertronia. But I didn't have enough 'small' toys to represent Cybertron's population and the presence of Autobot and Decepticon symbols was bugging me. It was entitled "Peace under the Pax", and involved the corruption of the Maximals and the methods of the Predacon Secret Police. The first story arc revolved around a female Maximal who was framed for a murder and culminated in the release of the Decepticon Brawl (who is giant compared to everyone else) by a neo-Decepticon faction. The Predacon Secret Police saved the day, and the next arc was about them covering it all up.
Jazz doesn't have much to say, but what he says, says a lot. The pics are HUUUUUUUUUGE, though. Would you be able to resize them to 640 x 480 or 800 x 600? They'd load quicker, save you bandwidth, and be easier to read. Resizing also helps compensate for the focus difficulties that tend to happen with closeup shots. It's always hard to get a good depth of field.
This sounds like a pretty good story and I'm liking what you've posted of this story so far. I thought about making one with all the Legends figures I've got, but I just couldn't figure out how to do it, so I commend you on that.
i cant say im liking all that much. for one its really hard to pull off a drama comic u almost ahve to put a little bit of humor into a characters personality or something. and second i cant stand the lego backdrop.
Thank you! To be honest, I don't think I've figured it out yet either... You don't like what you haven't seen yet? As for the LEGO, each to their own.
