Going to Chick-Fil-A for the first time ever tomorrow for lunch, what do you recommend getting?
the nuggets are good and there lemonade
Is it a Dwarf House? A simple breakfast of chicken, eggs, and grits is good.
Otherwise, it may sound flippant, but get the chicken.
Number 1 combo meal...chicken sandwich, waffle fries, drink. Yumm.
don't expect extravagance, just really well done chicken.
i suggest the chicken sandwich and lemonade.
i am really picky about my chicken, and Chick-Fil-A ranks at the top. hope you enjoy it like i do.
Sweet Tea and a peach milkshake.
For sandwiches, I usually get the original or the grilled.
Ask for honey mustard or Chick-fil-A sauce for your nuggets or waffle fries.
cant stand it, bunch of snouts and ends....
Go for the nuggets. Stay away from the chicken sandwich.
Conflicting opinions argh
Chicken sandwich, waffle fries, lemonade - these were all sounding awesome but then people come storming in here with nuggets and peach milkshakes, what's a gal to do?
I tried to go on a Sunday wile at Botcon in Florida, for some reason it was closed
They don't open on Sundays for religious/rest purposes.
The nuggets and the sandwich are the same chicken soaked in pickle juice and fried. Both are good. Also, skip the waffle fries (as fries are fries are fries) and go for the milkshake.
waffle fries, get lots and lots of waffle fries
you should be ashamed of yourself, waffle fries are the best!
I personally dig the spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack and some waffle fries.
The chicken strips are good as well with honey mustard or buffalo sauce.
I dunno, I like most of the stuff on their menu.. But I've noticed theirs a lot of variance in quality between individual restaurants.. I assume it's something to do with the franchise owners..
The ones in Malls tend to be reliably good.. but the free standing ones its usually an 80-20 split..
as for them being closed.. well.. so what.. their business.. their choice.. but then I'm used to not being able to always get what I want on Sundays.. so It's not really that big of a deal to me..
I wouldn't exactly say Truet is crazy either.. At least not when it comes to business.. I cannot and will not say anything about his political or religious leanings as per the forum rules.. I would say it's more that he is the antithesis of Joe Rodgers Sr. the founder of Waffle House (both are from Atlanta, and they have totally contrasting views of what constitutes a good work environment)..
That spicy sandwich is new right? I don't recall seeing it before today.
chik-Fil-A sandwich the original is always good and the nuggets, I know this is old but I just seen this now...heh
After working for them 7 of the last 9 years and just left a couple weeks ago, I gotta say its always fun to see someone try it for the first time. I would recommend the #1 meal, the original Chick-fil-a sandwhich with waffle fries and sweet tea. As for the milkshake, I have to recommend chocolate personally.
Mineraljane, the chicken isn't soaked in pickle juice. When I first started back in '01, the chargrill was marinated in a mixture that did involve it, but that hasn't been true in 8 years or more.
As for not open on Sunday, I've always appreciated it. At least I knew I had one day off guaranteed. Despite it seeming an out-dated business practice, Chick-fil-a has done extremely well with steady growth across the company.
Razerwire, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich went on sale at the start of June. Deefuzz is right, its friggin delicious, more so with the pepperjack cheese. It has actually become my primary meal when I eat there.
