That's just disgusting, I mean let's say for the sake of argument it was an accident. The Crew person should threw the patty away not place it in queue to be used

He'll sue mcdonalds for millions now. And rightly so, when you think about it.

This cannot be an accident unless you're a complete retard. This was intentional (maybe not toward the guy, but intentional nonetheless). Or maybe the guy made that up, which would be very easy. Could even be his own chewing gum.

What for? He might get a few thousand bucks if he's lucky. We're talking about chewing gum here, not a needle, a human finger or a rat.

As much as I feel sorry for the guy...is there anyway McD could protect themselves? For all we know, the guy could be out making a "quick buck" by planting the gum himself - know what I mean?

Eating dead animal is fine. Unfortunately, dead animal only accounts for maybe 30% of what McD's dubs 'meat.'

Wow, you've got more confidence in McDonalds "beef" than I. I can't say with any confidence that I think there's 1% of actual cow in a mcdonalds patty.

McDonalds hamburgers are 100% cow parts. They might not be cow parts you usually think about eating, but it's 100% cow. They cant really be anything else and still be called hamburgers.

In any case, I wouldnt jump to any conclusions quite yet. It wouldnt be the first time someone's tried to pull a fast one. (Remember the finger in the chili incident?) The fact he immediately brought up hepatitis makes me a bit suspicious.

Well, they say their patties use 100% Pure Beef.

They say that on everything. Always that exact phrase, 100% Pure Beef. It's even on the boxes the patties are shipped in.

100% Pure Beef is a registered company trademark, not an indication of the content of the hamburgers.

Yes it is. They cant put '100% pure beef' on packaging and NOT have 100% pure beef in it. To do otherwise gets them in serious trouble when it comes to lawsuits. Now, like I said before, this doesnt necessarily mean it's GOOD grade beef, or the parts of the cow that you'd normally think about eating, but it's all from a cow. (Minus the %1 or so of impurities the FDA lets them get away with)
