Supposedly some pics from the set of TF2 have revealed that blue car above the corvette on the truck, it's the Chevy Volt production version...

For those who might not know, this is the FIRST EVER that the public has seen the production Volt in all its glory, pretty cool that it happened on the set of Transformers...

 

Cool. Would make for a nice addition to the Autobot cast. I actually didn't know they came up with a production version of the Volt. I have seen the concept in person. It was interesting looking, but not something I ever imagined getting made withought some major changes to the body of it. This production version looks really good. Something I would actually consider getting at some point, though the cost to one day replace the battery unit in it is one thing that would stop me ever getting it.

Edit: Personally I hope it isn't Soundwave. The coloring is correct for him, but I would rather have him be something larger than that. Some kind of jet or plane would do. It'd also go well with most of the other Decepticons, imo.

The reports from the set mention THREE BLUE CARS.... I can see that shade of Purple being confused for Blue in the dark from a distance..... Unless SoundWave is made up of all three blue/Purple cars though...

Have to say that colour suits the car... and that the Volt looks quite good....

 

A guy who was there said it looked more blue in person than the purple in the video.

Jesus, does Ratchet die in the movie? We saw a bit of him and he hasn't shown up since.

 

It could be Rumble, as we already have a Frenzy. Then again Frenzy may have upgraded to a vehicle mode.

 

I don't know, I doubt GM would let them make the vehicle that they're relying so much on to be evil.

For Ratchet he's more than likely at their base now all the time. They seriously wouldn't want to or need to endanger their main medic now they have others around.

Geeze, at this rate, I'm going to start assuming the Chevy logo is a full fledged faction symbol.

Either way, I'm not terribly impressed with these new cars. The silver one that's being dubbed as Trax looks okay, albeit a little more future/concept than I would prefer, but all the little ones including this purple Volt just look so... I dunno... battery powered eco friendly. You can almost see how limited their options are with only one car company to pick from. Hopefully some bigger & better ones are still yet to be unveiled.

 

I think the purple car might be ShockWave its a strong possibility , im getting the Alt Shockwave feel to it!

 

Dang all these new Autobots are so plain and dull. The silver Corvette is awesome though.

 

I'm thinking the 2 cars that are driving so close together are Sunstreaker and sideswipe(The Ice Creme Truck Twins)

The Blue Car could be Tracks Heck, for all we know it could be Skidz  

It's more than possible the silver one will be any number of characters I'm just gonna wait and find out rather than speculate
