Hey all! Did not see this posted so thought I would share.

On my way to work this morning a page from a local newspaper was floating on the ground and hit my foot. I looked down and, to my surprise, saw the image below. Since the one on the ground was in bad shape, I found a copy of the newspaper and brought it to work. I cut out the image and posted it on my cube at work. It is from SF Weekly (San Francisco paper). It is the May 23rd - 29th issue, for those that want to get their hands on a copy.

Sorry the quality is not better. I will try to scan it and post it when I get home. For now a pic from my camera phone will have to do. :)

    The text says:
"Chevy: Our mission: Stop the Decepticon invasion. Build your Chevy Autobotand help protect the world. Only @ Chevy.com/autobot."

I believe 30 trillion light years puts cybertron outside of the known universe......or not?

The distance of the universe is unknown. And is speculated to possibly be endless.

Yeah actually. I may be wrong but I think that current scientific knowledge puts the universe at about 12-15 billion years old. Remembering that the universe should be basically a sphere that would put it at about 24-30 billion light years across.

Really though I think it's just an error or a typo and nothing that you can really read too much into.

Well, I dont believe it is a 'typo' ... but we are unsure what they are using in the movie, so this may be the case.

And so glad to see people visiting a thread I created! :D

Probably does, my guess though is that it isn't a typo but a marketing gimmick for the mind. Americans and most of the world have become unimpressed with the idea of millions and billions that marketing firms need to ramp up the number to impress the targeted audience.

So now they use Trillion, and in twenty years that will seem passé` and go on to zillion, and so on and so on... even if the distance really is only a city block.

Outside the KNOWN UNIVERSE. which makes sense. because we havent discovered Cybertron.
