I Love this Fansproject add-on Kit for Bruticus Maximus, but I felt like it was missing that glorious Chest piece. So I took one from a KO G1 Bruticus and Cut it in half, then drilled a hole in that Energon thingy and pushed it together. some paint and a Decpticon Logo, voila its done!

    Thanks guys,

And you don't even need to glue them as long as you don't make the hole too big. :)

I think if I did this I'd cut the wings down so they're not as wide. It'd also be cool to find a way to incorporate the shield into the individual robot and vehicle modes...

Wonderful! My only nit-pick is that I feel it should be painted a tad darker to help match up with the grey on the limbs.

The funny thing is that it's a lot dark than the photo. I put some silver in it to match better and it reflexs on my stupid 3Gs iPhone. I'm going to get a light box soon so I can take some better pic in the future.

That's a killer idea. I think I'll do that too. Have to find a chest shield though.

try this, worked for me. take a pair of pliers and dremel if you have one, and clean out the inside of the chest plate to give yourself a huge hollow area. instead of drilling a hole in the energon star, a better solution would be to cut the sides off of the star and grind down the height just a bit and fit it into the hollow area you just made, and super glue it in there. not only does it fit flush, but looks much better. besides, bruticus's chest sticks out way too much anyway. sir, i was merely pointing out the star insert into the hollow area, not doing a full on mod like i did. by hollowing out the upper cavity in the chest plate, it allows you the ability to insert the entire star inside and making it flush w/ the plate. doing that not only looks better, but takes about 5 minutes to do. what long drawn out process are you speaking of? 5 minutes. plus it doesnt stick out as far. just trying to help.
