Hey! Good to see ya! Happy '11!

Well, a while back I had stocked up on a spare Drift to make a Wheeljack, then shortly after saw the (really turbo sweet) pics of the official release. My spare Drift was just hanging out until I was catching up on some Beast Wars while painting....

I really liked the idea of the animated Cheetor drawings, using those triangle dot patterns, so I stole the idea, although they aren't hexagonal dots. I used Testors Laquer in Inca Gold, Model Master Brass, and a hand mixed metallic blue of my own creation. After some light panel work and some Pledge Future for that new car shine, he was done!

man, I really like that. The original cheetor was one of my favorite toys when I was young and beast wars had just come out, so this makes me happy. Now maybe I'll have something to do with my unused Drift.

Wow the colors on this guy are absolutely stunning! I love the shades and placement of every color you used. The lighter gold on the forearms really puts this guy in a whole new category of awesome!

BEAUTIFULLY done, and the head design is a spot-on-smooth ringer for Cheetas too!

May have to replicate this at some point....or hire Sabby to do it for me ;)

A stunning piece, every aspect of it is flawlessly executed. I also really like the shade of yellow that you picked.

I REALLY like that you didn't end up going with random cheetah spots and went with organized, symmetrical spots in only a few spots. Just because he's a cheetah doesn't need he needs spots with a vehicle mode. It looks really good.
