Just been watching MST3K (and yes I'm still going through the original MLP for those on the thread) and I started to wonder if it was ever brought back or remade by someone like the BBC, would there be any cheesy movies not yet given the MST3K/Rifftrax treatment? Can anyone think of any?

    I thought of:
    • Son of Godzilla
    • Godzilla vs Hedorah
    • Godzilla vs Gigan
    • Troll 3 (The Crawler)

Also was MST3K ever released in the UK?

This version came out in 2005, but OH GOD, is it ripe for the picking for Joel/Mike, Tom, and Crow to tear apart. It's hard to believe this came out when it did. In fact, I've made my own riffing for the first ten minutes or so of it. If I can make a recording of it and upload the video to YouTube or something, I'll do it.

The movie is hilariously bad. The acting is bad, the effects are bad...hell, THEY SCREW UP A FEW DAY-FOR-NIGHT SHOTS.

Think about what I just said there.

(Though to be fair, there are times I kinda do like DFN shots, only because it can give off an atmospheric feel to it, if done a certain way).

Yeah one was seen in Gamera vs. Zigra.. it looked like a yellow and black bumblebee striped baby rattle in ship mode. Had a couple of boy scouts in it who go in a submarine to see Gamera in the ocean. I remember tiny bits about it.

I can't see the picture because the site hosting it is blocked at work, but I had this funny feeling you were talking about Pendragon's War of the Worlds when I saw your post! The mention of day-for-night shooting gave it away.

It was on one of the satellite channels (Bravo I think?), around 1998/1999.

The Wicker Man remake isn't that old, but it would be so funny to see them make fun of that movie.

The Giant Claw, The Giant Behemoth, Disney's The Black Hole, Godzilla Raids Again, Godzilla vs Gigan, Disney's The Island at the top of the World (because David Hartman, the pilot in San Francisco International, is in it), Troll 2 (I'm surprised they never gave a shot on that one) and Jaws the Revenge(for the movies 10th Anniversary) and Night of the Lepus.

They should have a Van Damme trilogy with Time Cop, Street Fighter, and Double Team.
