Superion the G1 TOY did have a mouth. For some reason the animation model and Marvel Comics version was given a faceplate. No idea why... usually it works the other way around, and they give facial features to TFs who don't have any... zmog
He took them down from his Photobucket account, apparently. He did an amazing job on this, but I do echo the comments on the individual bots. The paint job could be slightly better on the smaller bots, but Silverbolt looks great and the mods done to them all look great.
Ahahaha. You took the words right out of my mouth! So funny. I was thinking the same. COmbined and vehicle modes look really really great but the individual robot modes gave him an instant K.O. As in really K.O. Hahaha. But I think the paint job is erm.."kinda below the marginal threshold for acceptance" in relation to a work of art as that. It doesn't seem to go hand in hand with the quality of the Combined mode. His Devy too. Kinda fell below what is minimally required for all the effort he had put in into that Devy.

Thanks for posting those up for everyone who was interested. I think he did a decent job on it and put a lot of hard work into it, but the painting could have been a little better (looks thick in some areas). Overall, it was a nice refreshing (and different) take on Devastator. I think he did much better with Superion, even though the bot modes don't look complete. Nice work though on his part (and thanks again for the pics).
yes, i have alot of gripe with his painting. it looks like he handpainted them and didn't thin them enough. if he'd used more airbrush, it would be awesome!
Mixmaster's cement container idea is awesome. But he doesn't seem to be the king of painting indeed. I wouldn't even mind it that much if he didn't stop once they were 45% complete.
I'm digging the Superion...I was a little worried that classics silverbolt wouldn't work but I think the concept is there. Overall, a nice job.
Too bad it didn't sell. Some people seem to have no idea how to sell their items on ebay. It might have even fetched his starting price if he listed it at say $100 to start. I really like the combined form and jet modes. I'll probably take a few ideas from this for mine but the bot modes just don't look right. Just like F_R Menasor they just don't look cartoony enough to me. I want faces that look different enough from the source material to feel like different bots
