For your visual entertainment, I'm proud to present to you SG Rodimus done in Real Fire style. 2 things made me do this project. 1. I'm not a fan of Hot Rod, but I looove his SG rendition. 2. I've always wanted to try my hand at Real Fire, ever since I saw Chris Morada's Fallen. That custom sure inspired me to no end. God bless Chris. 3. I've always wondered why no one has done a Real Fire Hot Rod. I mean, he has flames all over his friggin' hood! And so I tried. Here are the list of mods for this figure: - Ball jointed wrists - Ball jointed elbows - Saw blade hand (replaceable) - Real Fire paintjob sealed with Future - Custom Autobot chest decal - LED eyes with batteries and switch Figure is fully transformable with minimal paint rub (Oh joy! Joy!). Real Fire has a slight learning curve, but things come naturally after sometime. Even so, the scale is a bitch to work with. Well, I still have a little more planned for this guy so stay tuned. Also, I'm considering putting this guy up on Ebay. What do you guys think? Update November 26, 2010: Yep, I gave Rodimus a new weapon. A sniper fusion rifle to be exact because being a cowardly, machiavellian bot he is, he wouldn't use anything else. Maybe a hidden dagger, who knows. Adapted from a Galvatron's cannon and given a matching paintjob to his current Real Fire scheme. It can still fire its projectile, which is also painted. Ever wondered why it's called 'Delicious Irony'? Flickr is here. Ebay page is here.
