I care little or nothing for any of those bands, but thats what I expected...So at least Im not dissapointed.

 

Well not a nickleback fan at all but probally will like the other songs. And yes cheap trick is still together they are touring with Poison and Def Leppard this summer. I will get this cd.

 

Meh, not bad. I can't stand Greenday and will probably delete their track without listening to it as soon as I load the album on my computer, but there's nothing else really objectionable on there. It'll probably be decent, if generic.

Looking forward to seeing a track list for the score.

add in a heavy song by slipknot, some sworn enemy, devildriver you have a cd worth being called a transformers soundtrack, i highly doubt in the middle of a giant robot war people are going to have nickelback set the tone

Very much "WTF, now I have to hear this" on the Cheap Trick bit. Not happy with the Nickelback song, but I'll get over it.

Dead by Sunrise is in it? OMFG!! That's amazing!!!, that's Chester Bennington's side project, and this is the first single they release.

In other news: Stan Busch's remake of 'The Touch' apparently did not touch the soundtrack.

 

maybe we could get Mastodon to do a cover of "The Touch"....... eh eh?

 

You know, I do like most of the artists on the soundtrack. But I am a bit dissappointed that it is mostly rock and not a good mix of musical genres. That just seems to alienate the soundtrack.
